Yahweh Says It:
Seersgate, remember all of those ways of conversations? We said certain words you grew familiar with: “It is just a distraction.” But We also told you these words when dealing with how sick your blood family is. What are the odds that both your mom and dad have brain illnesses? Both are incurable with natural medication. And every time you ache within and quietly beg Me to heal them, what do I say? They’re being under spiritual attack from Satan.
Satan knows you can’t do anything to make Me give them healing. He was permitted to torture your way by hitting the natural flesh of those you love dearly. You know Yahweh. You hear Me speak in word-for-word engagement, yet We will not bend to heal them. Yahweh knows you hurt greatly, yet Yahweh can’t bend to Satan.
I say these words so that others—they would see that there is no promise of healing in this natural living. Only salvation is guaranteed this day to all who would come and drink living water. King Jesus is the only way to Heaven. There is full healing when a person enters death. And I will raise them up on the last day.
Stand with Yahweh. Satan treated you poorly. Do not ever curse Me. If Yahweh yields their healing in natural living, there would not be a favorite to choose. Yahweh loves all who are His. I will bring great power to build Yahweh’s work very quickly. Power, not natural income, is the real way. Let this be the entry note to this beautiful little book.
Leaving a Meeting Sick

Yahweh:
That is not scriptural, Susanna. Because someone is healed doesn’t mean their sins are forgiven. Just the same if someone is sick means that they are a sinner. This is where people get confused. People tell them if they are sick, it’s because of lack of faith, or they didn’t believe enough, and so on. It is My will to heal, and at the same time, I choose to heal whoever I want to heal. At the same time, I can forgive anyone, but they must come to Me for forgiveness. I am the only Way. There’s no other way to Heaven.
Do not preach this, that if you are sick, you have sinned against Me, and if you are well and made whole, then God approves of you. This will cause many to walk in condemnation. They will always think they could never be good enough for Me to heal them when all along all have sinned. All fall short of the glory of God. You must see this, and this is why you must ask Me what’s really going on behind the scenes before you pray for healing. See what I am doing. See what I want to do with that individual.
Yes, sickness is not in Heaven. At the same time, as I have mentioned in that message that I gave you on healing, everyone is not healed. But because someone dies and goes to Heaven doesn’t mean that they lacked the faith to be healed. People must realize that they must come to Me for healing or anything else they need. It is in My nature to heal because I am the Healer. At the same time, know what’s going on in the unseen realm that’s bringing about that sickness so you wouldn’t pray against My will, against what I am doing at that moment. I know you understand because we’ve covered this before in another entry. This is so others will understand and not judge others if they leave a meeting sick.

How Yahweh Explains Healing

Message from the Lord
Yahweh Says:
Susanna, all true healing comes from Me. I even give the doctors wisdom to bring healing to others, but people do not see that it is ultimately Me doing the healing. I created the human body. For any type of healing to take place in the body, I have to be the One doing it. I hold the world together with My Word. I hold the human body together with My Word.
I choose to heal whoever I want to heal because I am God. As people see every day when they are healed from various things such as colds and flu to major things such as cancer, I am the One doing the healing.
To Me, no sickness or disease is greater than another. I took every sin, sickness, and disease on My body. Now, people can believe Me to do a miraculous sign, and yes, sometimes I will choose to operate that way. And the reason for Me to operate that way is for My glory, not so humans can receive glory.
There are examples in Scripture that show I heal the righteous and the sinner. There are Scriptures that show I heal the just as well as the unjust. I have been doing it since the beginning of time on earthly calendars. I am not subject to time. I am outside of time. I am eternal.
My plan is for all to be healed in their hearts. This is the ultimate healing: salvation. Eternal life brings true healing. If people would see this, that I am the God who heals and that My healing is not limited to the physical body, they would see well and focus on the Good News—what I came to do, as mentioned in Luke 4. I have been healing all since the beginning.
Now, some levels or degrees, and the purpose of major healings, may vary. Some don’t realize that going to Heaven is full healing, but it is. It’s another form of healing. Some I leave sick. Not to be mean, but for a purpose. This is not for all who are sick. This is to say that some people are sick because I choose to leave them that way. I may not reveal the purpose as to why.
Others remain sick because of sin or other reasons. Because a person is sick or dies doesn’t mean a lack of faith existed in their lives. That is not so. Everyone doesn’t know My plan, nor does everyone fully understand My will. The key is to trust Me no matter what, to believe in Me with your whole heart. The key is to put Jesus first, realizing that He is in control when you release control to Him.
God will not force His way on you. He will woo you. My Spirit will call you, but I cannot force you like a robot to do what I want you to do. You must accept Me as Lord and Savior and follow Me. You must love Me with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength. You must not waver in your faith when things don’t go the way you think they should go.
Always believe My Word. I am the Healer. I am the One who heals. Now, what you do with that information is up to you. Don’t hinder Me from working in your life because of unbelief. Always trust in Me, knowing that all things work together for good for those who love the Lord, those called according to His purpose. Not your purpose and not your will.
Is Satan the Cause of All Sickness?

Yahweh:
I want you to share your heart with Me.
Susanna:
Oh, Lord, it is so hard reading John G. Lake’s book because the things that I read are so different than what I am used to hearing from You. Part of me can see why he said certain things based on how he preached off of a certain Scripture, yet he seems to ignore Your overall theme, so to speak, how You operate in general. He is saying it is always God’s will to heal. And that is Your nature, yet he is also saying that every sickness comes from the enemy, which is not scriptural.
I am thinking right now concerning communion. Your Word says very plainly that if you take communion in an unworthy manner, where there is sin in your life, and your heart is not right, it could lead to sickness or even death itself. That tells me that the acts of a person can also bring sickness upon themselves, not Satan. People seem to casually blame the enemy for every sickness and disease and never want to know what the true cause could be. I also think about what You said about blessings and curses in the book of Deuteronomy. Those were conditional blessings, and if someone chose to turn away from You, they would receive the curses as mentioned in Scripture.
I also think about how Satan approached Your throne, and You told him about Job and how he walked in integrity and served You with his whole heart, and Satan wanted to challenge that; and You allowed him to do so, where You gave Satan permission to take everything from Job but his life, just to show that this was a man who was truly in Your will, where he was innocent before You; for he never cursed You despite of losing it all but his life.
Oh, Lord, it just seems that people will claim a particular promise, yet they are not willing to look at the conditions concerning that promise. It’s like the “name it and claim it” group, or those who choose to pull a Scripture out and say, “Yes, this is for me,” yet they don’t read the whole context concerning that Scripture; for quite a few Scriptures are indeed conditional, where it would say, “If you did this, you would receive this.”
Oh, Lord, Your nature, actually thinking about Your nature, puts Your Word in a different light. We must see Your full will and not particularly what we are trained by the world, the church, or our family. We must truly rely on Your Spirit to show us what is taking place at that moment. This requires insight from the Great Holy Spirit. This requires Your wisdom, not pulling out a few Scriptures just to say this is automatically for me because it’s in the Word and I am a child of God.
Message from the Lord
“Seek God’s Will”
Yahweh Says:
Yes, Susanna. Yes. You are speaking with My wisdom even now, for I am revealing so much to you concerning My will concerning healing and My nature. Many think that if they have a Scripture, it’s automatically going to “work” for them. Now put “work” in quotes because My Word never fails; it is alive and active; it will come to pass.
Now, here is where the problem lies: People will take a Scripture and say, “This is for me,” yet they will not allow Me to show the root cause of whatever they are experiencing. And this is why: What if I say there is sin or demons involved? What if there’s unforgiveness? What if someone has broken their will, where they made a vow to Me, then they didn’t keep that will, that promise?
What if they curse Me by the things they do or say or will in their lives, and yet they expect to receive so much of what I say is available? What if they believe they can live any sort of way and think they can “claim” My will for themselves? Yes, and the word “claim” is also in quotes. I am showing the way the Church today operates. I am showing that people, as a whole, think My will is for them when there is more.
There is a true way to view My will as mentioned in Scripture: it is through the leading of My Spirit. It is by seeking My will for that moment. It is seeking My will, where you come before Me and ask Me what the root cause of a sickness, a disease, a church fallout, a dissension is. It is seeking My will for all things and not trying to use human wisdom to figure out what My will truly is.
Only My Spirit knows My true will in all things. Man has, for so long, gathered data from what others are doing or saying in their churches, in their meeting places instead of seeking My will for this moment. Why is that? It’s because man chooses to follow the way of what they think works. It is because man wants to please others just like them so that they can gain their following and be like those they try to impress.
Why can’t people look to Me to see My will, to see what I am doing for this moment, for this hour? This is what I long for—for those in My Body to come to Me and drink, and receive My will from My Spirit, says your God. Stop trying to do things that your will is driving. Allow My will to lead where you seek to know My will for this time, for this season.
Do not assume you know what I am looking for when you have your eyes on your neighbor in this movement. Focus your eyes, your heart, and your will on what I am doing and what I am saying; for this is My will for you. My will is for you to look to Me for wisdom as to how to lead others, how to pray My will, and how to minister. Don’t go on what you think works.
The Spirit of God searches the hearts of men. And what is His will for this hour? Seek God’s will.

WHAT JESUS CAME TO DO
CONVERSATION WITH YAHWEH
Journal Entry: March 4, 2011
SUSANNA: Lord, the Scripture says You were anointed to preach the Gospel to the poor. What does that mean? I don’t understand completely, or maybe I’m not sure.
YAHWEH: Susanna, it’s concerning becoming an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ. It also means to be born again. The Good News is that you could inherit so much as a child of God, a citizen in God’s Kingdom. I don’t pay by earthly standards. I pay by Kingdom standards. But the only way to benefit from the Kingdom is to become a part of the Kingdom. This is true riches: being a part of the Kingdom, being a citizen in God’s Kingdom. Do you understand now?
SUSANNA: I believe so, Lord. I am trying to process this way of thinking.
YAHWEH: The Kingdom is supernatural, Susanna, and a lot of what happens in the supernatural manifests in the natural. It’s the same thing with sowing and reaping: People want to be blessed, yet they disobey My laws; they are interconnected. Physically giving your tithes and offerings keep you from being cursed. I am a covenant God, and I cannot go against My own law. This is how the natural and the supernatural become inner connected. Yes, you are seeing well. It’s the same thing when taking communion: You physically put the bread in your mouth and drink the wine, yet if your heart is not right and there’s sin in your life, it could lead to sickness, or as mentioned, death. The same is the other way: If you stand before Me to commune with Me and remember Me through communion with clean hands and a pure heart, you could receive great healing. Do you understand how the natural and the supernatural are inner connected like this?
SUSANNA: Yes, Lord, I’m beginning to really see.
YAHWEH: Yes, Susanna, this is why faith is shown by works. This is why I tell you to show Me that you trust Me by doing the things I tell you to do, by not getting weary, by waiting on Me. This is the same for those who are poor: They must rely on Me for healing, for wealth, for full resources because there are no limits in My Kingdom. I own everything in My Kingdom, and for the poor to have access to that, they must come into the Kingdom. They must be born again. I believe you understand now. You know what you will have to do with all your teachings on this. But seek Me, Susanna, as to the other parts as well before updating this part.
SUSANNA: Lord, the next part says You came to—You were sent to heal the brokenhearted. Who are the brokenhearted?
YAHWEH: Take heart. I have overcome the world. Those who are in Me do not have to let their circumstances overwhelm them. When the storms of life come, I am the Peace that sustains them. They don’t have to live in their pains and sorrows because the joy of the Lord is their strength. Through Me, they can do all things. I can bring full healing to body, soul, and spirit. They don’t have to experience any type of woundedness continually because My power is able to break the cycle. My power is able to bring healing to the heart from past wounds. This is restoration, Susanna, the healing of the heart that comes from Me. I remove the pains of rejection and fill the heart with My love, with My Spirit. I fix. I mend. I restore. I make new. This is the new heart that I want to give those who come to Me. This is where they will see Me as their First Love, where there is intimacy, where we are one. Go ahead and ask Me the next one, Susanna.
SUSANNA: Lord, You came to preach deliverance to the captives. Please explain. Who are the captives?
YAHWEH: I believe you have an idea already. Anybody who is in sin is a slave to sin. Those who are in bondage to sin are also held captive by the sinful nature, where they walk in the flesh and not in the Spirit. This is where Satan has a grip on them, where they are in various addictions. Only My power can set people free. People can only be free through Me, not from doing a ritual. It has to be broken in the spirit realm because that is what is bringing the bondage. Those who are not in Christ are already captive to sin, and they cannot be free unless they receive Jesus into their hearts as Lord and Savior. Only the power of Jesus—the Spirit of Christ—can break off demonic strongholds. It’s not possible any other way because only My Spirit is greater than all other spirits. I created all spirits, and at the name of Jesus, all created beings must bow. This is where true freedom comes in—through Jesus Christ, by His Spirit. Ask Me the next question, Susanna.
SUSANNA: Lord, You came to give recovery of sight to the blind. Who are those who are blind?
YAHWEH: The blind are those who are being led by their souls. They have not been spiritually born again. They rely on their own knowledge to understand, and they try to discern spiritual things with the natural mind. They try to discern the Word with their natural mind as well. They are not gaining My thoughts. They are not hearing from Me. They are not connected. They are living a lie if they believe they can see and they are not born again. You cannot see anything of eternal value if you are spiritually dead. To see, Susanna, you must be born again. Let’s go on to the next question.
SUSANNA: Lord, You came to set at liberty those who are oppressed. Who are those who are oppressed, those who are bruised?
YAHWEH: People are under various curses when they no longer have to be. I have come to set them free from the yoke of the enemy. My yoke is easy, and My burden is light. People live under clouds of despair and hopelessness. But they no longer have to if they come to Me. They look for peace everywhere else when they can come to Me for peace. They look for satisfaction from worldly pleasures, yet they are still miserable. It’s because only I can fill the void. My eternal life is the hope that they need. My Kingdom operates differently than the world’s system. They can move in freedom from oppression in My Kingdom than under the world’s system. My Kingdom is not one of bondage and oppression. My Spirit gives life. There is liberty in Me through My Spirit. And people can experience this freedom that I offer when they believe in Me. Even when things come down on them in the natural realm, they don’t have to despair because I am with them. My Spirit will lead them. Let’s go on to the next point, Susanna.
SUSANNA: Lord, the last point is to preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Can You please explain what this means? Thank You.
YAHWEH: Oh, Susanna, I have come so that all may live. Those who believe in Me will never really die. Those who believe in Me will receive eternal life. Those who believe in Me will be reconciled back to the Father. Those who believe in Me will be able to see the Kingdom of Heaven. Those who believe in Me will have everything My Father has offered to those who are His children. Susanna, eternal life begins now. Eternal life begins now while on Earth for all those who receive Jesus into their heart as Lord and Savior. This is the Good News, Susanna. I have come so that all may have life. My kind of life is eternal life. Those who are in Me will live forever. They are citizens of Heaven. This is the Good News, Susanna, that salvation is available to all who believe in Jesus, God’s Son. Salvation is available now. The Kingdom of Heaven is available now, and if anyone wants to come into this Kingdom, Jesus is the Way they must go. He is the only Way. There are no exceptions. It was by His blood. His blood made it possible. Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission for sin. But Jesus paid the price. And this is the Good News: The price is paid in full, and eternal life is available to all who receive Jesus. Susanna, now you have a full grasp of what I came to do. Read over this. You don’t have to do it now but do it this weekend. This is your first mini-sermon. This must be ready by Friday. You were seeing well, but now you really understand. I will show you how to present this. This will bring great breakthrough to others because now they will be able to grasp this well. This is all for now, Susanna. This will be an amazing mini-sermon.

SUSANNA: Lord, concerning the Kingdom, what You came to do as mentioned in Luke 4: How do You want me to present this, Lord?
YAHWEH: I want you to present this in bullet points. I want you to address it to the listener instead of from Me to you. And I want it from you to them, where you are sharing what I have told you. I don’t want it to be word-for-word, Susanna, because then it wouldn’t be personal to them. But if they hear I came to do this for them, it will change the way they receive it. They would be able to sense Me through your words because you are sharing My words in a way that’s personal to them. I believe you understand what I am saying. I want you to add Scripture. I will show you which Scriptures to add. I want the booklet to be bullet points except for the Scriptures. This will make it easier for them to grasp it as they read it. You do understand what I am saying, and you will make sure it is very easy to understand. I want children to understand this—to understand what I came to do—not babies, Susanna, but the youth of today, those who are able to understand. This is going to be an amazing mini-sermon.
TAKING COMMUNION IN AN UNWORTHY MANNER
A Discussion with Yahweh

SEERSGATE: Can taking communion in an unworthy manner cause death?
YAHWEH: You know the answer, but you word it to let other people take a moment to ponder it. Make it clear to the people that My Word comes with spiritual backing, and it doesn’t mean that I do not love them when I back up My Word and bring what is written forward into the earth. Here is what is moving in these churches. They say, “Yahweh loves me, and He will not bring me any sickness even though I take communion in an unworthy state. He is only a loving God and would never judge me or bring a sickness.”
Take a look at the curses spoken in Genesis when Yahweh cursed the human race with natural death. I told him if he ate of that tree, he would surely die (Genesis 2:16-17). He gave the woman My command, and her being of his flesh made her stand in the same level of punishment: natural death. I cursed the whole human race. Does the curse of death mean I do not love the human race? No, of course not, for King Jesus came to earth to save any who would drink Him and eat Him in the spiritual way of the rebirth (John 3:16, John 6:48-58).
Surely, Yahweh loves those who walk in His Kingdom purpose, yet every believer under the Kingdom way can take in the spiritual law of sickness or even death when they take communion in an unworthy manner. Paul is not without human traits, traditions, and the old way still ingrained within (Acts 23:6). None of the early church leaders were perfect. They were willing to come under Kingdom order and live in a law of the power of Christ and Him crucified to become a new creation (Romans 8; 2 Corinthians 5:17). Works will not save anyone. But take a look at the work of taking communion. How many church leaders will say to their people, “Take a moment to examine yourself; come before God Yahweh with clean hands and a pure heart”?
Churches must consider the important point: I Yahweh have no favorites. I will record all words spoken. I will look for each person’s name to see if it’s in the Book of Life (Revelation 20:11-15). I show mercy, yet there is a judgment coming. Get the Word, read it, and start taking what I say as the True Word. No one will take your place in everlasting separation from My Kingdom even if you blame them for what sin you did.
See it: Adam sinned, but he blamed Eve (Genesis 3:12). When I had a conversation with Eve, she blamed the serpent (Genesis 3:13). But did I say, “Okay, well, it wasn’t really your fault. You were only doing what you thought would be better,” or did I say something similar to “Your disobedient ways will cause the curse to takeover. Death is given”? I gave them what I promised, even in disobedient actions. I gave them what the spiritual law required (Genesis 2:16-17). And this is the same with taking communion: I will judge them. But will My people continually blame Satan for disobeying My will?
(23) For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when He was betrayed took bread, (24) and when He had given thanks, He broke it, and said, “This is My body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of Me.” (25) In the same way also He took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” (26) For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes. (27) Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty concerning the body and blood of the Lord. (28) Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup. (29) For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself. (30) That is why many of you are weak and ill, and some have died. (31) But if we judged ourselves truly, we would not be judged. (32) But when we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined so that we may not be condemned along with the world.

(1) There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (2) For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. (3) For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, (4) in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. (5) For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. (6) For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. (7) For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot. (8) Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. (9) You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to Him. (10) But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. (11) If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

AN ENDING NOTE FROM SEERSGATE: Two streams of death occurred in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve sinned when they went against a command from God Yahweh. When they ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, they became aware of how they were without a natural covering: clothing. When they ate of that tree, among other curses, Yahweh cursed them with natural death, but it would take years for the natural death to take over, where they would return to dust. Because of their disobedience, Adam and Eve were also separated from Yahweh in the spiritual plan. Sin entered the human race when they ate from that tree. Their act of disobedience brought spiritual death. And that’s why King Jesus came, to save us from our sins as our Perfect Sacrifice.
Taking communion in an unworthy manner causes a spiritual law to overtake and bring sickness or even natural death in the believer, no matter how much they love Yahweh. Yahweh wants us to stop blaming Satan when we blatantly sin against His command to examine ourselves before taking communion. And so, Yahweh will judge us, which causes illness or natural death to lead within that moment when a person takes communion without examining themselves beforehand.
To examine yourself is to see if there is any sin in your heart, in your life that is hindering you from having fellowship with clean hands and a pure heart before Yahweh. Are you living in sinful actions, expecting Yahweh to ignore what you are doing? Is there anger or bitterness? Are there people you will not forgive? Seek Yahweh and ask Him to “create in me a clean heart and renew the right spirit in me.” Here is a way we can pray to Yahweh when we examine ourselves:
Yahweh, we need You. Your way of clean hands and a pure heart is my longing. Please look within me, search my heart, and tell me if there is a person I haven’t forgiven. Please bring them to my attention. Please forgive me for ________ (hatred, anger, bitterness, sinful living, etc.), not forgiving _________, for causing ill actions towards others. Please forgive me for gossip, strife, malice, disobeying Your commands, and hatred towards Your Word. Please set me in a right-standing by the blood of King Jesus. I am a child of God based on salvation in King Jesus. Let there be a turning away from the former living. Please let us come unto Yahweh with a reverent heart. Yahweh is God. Amen. Amen.
For those who do not have a relationship with King Jesus, Yahweh wants us to place this prayer that we share through our Good News Message. Here is a prayer of salvation:
Dear Jesus, I ask You to forgive me of all of my sins. I ask You to save me. I have turned my back on You, but now I come to You. Please cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Please heal me. Please heal me in every area of my life. Most importantly, please come to live within me. I want to know You. I want to have a relationship with You. I am Yours. I am Yours forever, my God, my King, and I choose to serve You for the rest of my days. Thank You, Lord, for dying for me and for saving me. I receive all that You have for me. I look forward to being with You forever. Amen.
(21) But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. (22) This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, (23) for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (24) and all are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. (25) God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of His blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance He had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— (26) He did it to demonstrate His righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.

(12) Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, so death spread to all people [no one being able to stop it or escape its power], because they all sinned. (13) Sin was [committed] in the world before the Law [was given], but sin is not charged [against anyone] when there is no law [against it]. (14) Yet death ruled [over mankind] from Adam to Moses [the Lawgiver], even over those who had not sinned as Adam did. Adam is a type of Him (Christ) who was to come [but in reverse—Adam brought destruction, Christ brought salvation]. (15) But the free gift [of God] is not like the trespass [because the gift of grace overwhelms the fall of man]. For if many died by one man’s trespass [Adam’s sin], much more [abundantly] did God’s grace and the gift [that comes] by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow to [benefit] the many. (16) Nor is the gift [of grace] like that which came through the one who sinned. For on the one hand the judgment [following the sin] resulted from one trespass and brought condemnation, but on the other hand the free gift resulted from many trespasses and brought justification [the release from sin’s penalty for those who believe]. (17) For if by the trespass of the one (Adam), death reigned through the one (Adam), much more surely will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in [eternal] life through the One, Jesus Christ. (18) So then as through one trespass [Adam’s sin] there resulted condemnation for all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men. (19) For just as through one man’s disobedience [his failure to hear, his carelessness] the many were made sinners, so through the obedience of the one Man the many will be made righteous and acceptable to God and brought into right standing with Him. (20) But the Law came to increase and expand [the awareness of] the trespass [by defining and unmasking sin]. But where sin increased, [God’s remarkable, gracious gift of] grace [His unmerited favor] has surpassed it and increased all the more, (21) so that, as sin reigned in death, so also grace would reign through righteousness which brings eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
